Congratulations to our latest Queensland representatives! Fiona G has been selected for the position of statistician with the Under 14 boy’s team and Lydia N is the head coach of the Under 14 girls ‘Flames’. Excellent news x 2!!
Good luck to all our Clubmates competing at the MEN’S UNDER 23 WORLD CHAMPIONSHIPS in Columbia. The tournament will see Ayden, Haydan and Thomas play and Shakira ‘colouring in the scorebook’. Boston and Kynan will also be there competing in the AUSSIE TEAM! Do yourselves proud Guys and play hard!
Congratulations Kaylee S! She has just been selected in the QRSS (Queensland Schoolgirls) Queensland State Team to compete at the Nationals! Train hard until the National Championships Kaylee! Fiona G. will also be there as a Statistician. Good luck!
What a great celebration of a season hard fought! Red and White Day was full of a few surprises for our Clubmates as we congratulated Juniors, Seniors, individual awards and milestones (games played and seasons with our Club). See 'NEWS' page for more details. Thank you to all Committee Members who made the successful day happen – from the time, expertise, donations and the organisation of the finer points. Many thanks to our very special multi-talented Life Member who pulled it all together, Fiona G. A great day was had by All!!!

The BSA summer season is over! Redsox had winners and runners-up teams on grand final day and a last game win for our Juniors too (the really littl’ ones don’t play finals). B Grade won their grand final vs Samford in a commanding batting and dominating ‘team effort’ performance to seal the victory. Congrats to Georgie Sabburg-MVP of the grand final! A Reserve didn’t fare as well going down to a strong batting performance by Panthers. Congratulations to all teams who fought hard all season and reaped the reward on the last day. CHAMPIONS, CHAMPIONS, CHAMPIONS! Yes, the C Grade Men's team played and won the grand final on 30th August... and they WON big time! Final score was 13-1. CONGRATULATIONS Guys (and Supporters) + our thanks to BSA for organising a great competition again in winter 2025.
CONGRATULATIONS REDCLIFFE! The WBSC Women's Softball World Cup Finals in 2027 will be held, ‘just down the road’, in Redcliffe.. yahoo!! Australia, who hosted the first edition of this most prestigious international women's softball tournament in Melbourne in 1965, will welcome the event again 62 years later. The Aussies won last time it was played on our soil… so here’s the Aussie Spirits time to attain glory once again. Congratulations Redcliffe!
