Important Notice of Meeting - ANNUAL GENERAL MEETING of our Club Our Annual General Meeting is set to be held on THURSDAY 20th JUNE 2024 at the NUNDAH LIBRARY (location: via 1 Bage Street, Primrose Lane, Nundah) commencing at 6.30pm. Nominations are also called for positions on our Club’s Management Committee. Nominations are due back prior to Wednesday 31st May. Please complete the form/s and forward to the Secretary asap. No nominations for Management positions will be accepted at the meeting. If you are unable to attend the AGM, please complete and email the proxy voting form. Hope to see you there! Congratulations to the lads who have been named to represent Softball Australia/Aussie Steelers Softball at the Men’s Worlds Group Stage in Mexico in June: Thomas Cass and Riley James. Our Scott Sunley is the Head Coach. Ashlee Goffer has been included in the extended squad too. Train hard in preparation for your next challenge!
Congrats also to Tameika W. who was just selected in the Australia Spirit World Cup team. It's a blend of youth and experience ready to take on the world at the 2024 WBSC Women's Softball World Cup finals in Italy in July.

MEN'S UPDATE: The Preston Road "renovation" is still in progress and we're not confident that the BCC contractors will be returning the facility to us soon. So, next game day April 27th April, will take place at Downey Park, along with the ANZAC day games. Fixtures will be out soon! Parking info on 'NEWS'.
What a wonderful relaxed way to celebrate the end of the BSA season! At 'Red n White Celebrations' at Windsor Bowls Club, Life Members, Members, Parents and Supporters all enjoyed a laugh, some lunch and a few drinks - and had the opportunity to acknowledge the efforts of successful Club members. From our ‘littlies’ to our Ladies team members to our World Champion team members … everyone was congratulated on their successes throughout the 2023-2024 season. CONGRATULATIONS All!
It was REDSOX WHITE versus REDSOX RED in the Ipswich Association men’s grand final. Update: REDSOX WHITE are the Champions 4 runs to 1!
Update from the Open Men’s Nationals (competing for the John Reid Shield) - Redsox had 2 players who received awards for their performances: Ashlee G. = ‘Rookie of the Year’ and Thomas C. = MVP. Well done to both of these players and all Redsox members involved at these Nationals! Jesse, Aiden, Issac, Ashlee, Shannon, Shaun, Riley, Regan (what a memorable catch!), James, Layton, Caleb, Thomas (NSW), Boston (SA), Alan (Umpire) and Shakira (Statistician). Congrats to all 15!!!
Other finalists in their respective age groups and grades were: Jemma C, Ty G, and Blake S (Under 12), Sophie H and Kyelar T (Under 14), Sam W and Kirsty D (B1) with Moe K and Dorinda S (June Spice Medal A1). Acknowledged in BSA representative honours were: Sophie Ev, Kaylee S and Georgie S who was voted the ‘Player’s Player Under 14’ too! Congratulations to all finalists and award winners from all our Clubs! A big well done and thank you to BSA’s volunteers for a successful ‘night on the green’!

The Queensland Government provides a 'FAIR PLAY' voucher for children who play sport and it helps defray the costs of fees to participate in that sport. See if your child/children is/are eligible and apply, go to our 'NEWS' page for more details. This round of vouchers closes 4 October.
