The Queensland Government is providing a $200 'FAIR PLAY' voucher for children who play sport. It helps defray the costs of fees to participate in your chosen sport. Vouchers must be presented to our Redsox Treasurer (your activity provider) to be redeemed.

July 2023 - Great news from QSHoF! Some Redsox ‘oldies’ have been recognised for their contribution to Queensland softball with their induction into the Queensland Softball Hall of Fame. Helen Strauss former player and umpire extraordinaire, Stacey Webber player and junior Coach and Mel Weaver player at all levels of our great game (133 games for Redsox) were all inducted into this prestigious ‘club’ of players. Congratulations Ladies on all your achievements, on and off the field of play! P.S. Mel wrote on 29th October:I played because I loved the game'

March 2023 - Redsox Softball Club has added another prestigious person to our Life Members ‘roll call’. Tanya Harding has become Life Member #28 in our Club and we are so proud to call you a member of our Redsox community. Thank you for your contributions to Redsox and also for all that you have done for softball in this country and for our sport on the world’s stage.

EARLIER NEWS FLASH!!!!! Congratulations Tanya! Tanya's history at Redsox (her #7 is retired) was for 14 seasons, of which 2 she coached the A1 team. She played 139 games in the red and white.
TANYA HARDING OLY INDUCTED INTO THE SPORT AUSTRALIA HALL OF FAME
Softball Australia is proud to congratulate Tanya Harding OLY as the fourth softballer to be inducted into the Sport Australia Hall of Fame. Tanya joins Esther Deason OBE (1994), Midge Nelson BEM (1985) and Joyce Lester OLY OAM (2000) as Australia’s only other softball members in the Sport Australia Hall of Fame.
