MEMBERSHIP FORMS

TO BECOME A REDSOX PLAYER AND / OR OFFICIAL, THERE ARE 2 IMPORTANT FORMS THAT NEED TO BE COMPLETED AND HANDED TO or EMAILED TO OUR REGISTRAR - NICOLE C. AND BLUE CARD CO-ORDINATOR FIONA G.

You will need a Redsox Membership Form and a Blue Card. (You are not permitted to have contact with children at the Park until you have the Blue Card in your possession)

1. REDSOX MEMBERSHIP / MEDICAL FORMS INSTRUCTIONS:

Complete the Membership Form on-line at  https://linktr.ee/RedsoxSoftballClubInc  then wait for a link from our Registrar to pay.                                 No full registration and payment ... no play!!

2. BLUE CARD INSTRUCTIONS - IF YOU ARE OVER 18 YEARS OF AGE, AND A MEMBER OF REDSOX, YOU REQUIRE A 'BLUE CARD':

Here are the simple steps to apply or renew your ‘Blue Card’.

To apply for a new card:

1.      Prove your identity

You will need a Customer Reference Number (CRN) from the Queensland Department of Transport and Main Roads (TMR) before you apply for your blue or exemption card to prove your identity. You can find your CRN on any TMR product. If you are not sure if you have ever had a CRN, you can contact TMR. We use the photo from your TMR product for your blue card. If your photo with TMR was taken more than 6 years and 11 months ago, you will need to have a new photo taken at a TMR customer service centre.

If you don’t have a CRN, or your photo has expired, you will need to visit a TMR customer service centre to get one. If you are unable to visit TMR or live interstate you can still apply for a CRN from them. There is no fee to get a CRN or have your photo updated.

2.      Apply for a blue card or exemption card

To apply for a blue or exemption card, follow these 3 simple steps.

1.      Have your CRN nearby to reference.

  1.    Register for an online account. This is how we verify your identity and get the photo for your card. This works best from a desktop, laptop not your phone.

        3. Apply for your blue or exemption card using the online applicant portal or download the paper form.

Submit a paper application

If you can’t apply online, you can submit a paper application. If your application requires payment, you will need to have a Mastercard or Visa credit/debit card to pay for your application and a B Point receipt number. .

Receiving your card

If your application is approved, we will notify you via email or post. We will send your physical card to your postal address. Delivery times to receive your blue or exemption card may be up to 21 days.

Once you receive confirmation, you can start or continue in child-related work straight away. You do not need to have your physical blue card or exemption card before you can start working or volunteering with children.

How to renew your blue or exemption card

To renew your blue or exemption card, you need to follow 4 steps:

1.     Go to:  Blue Card Services | Your rights, crime and the law | Queensland Government (www.qld.gov.au)

2.      Have a CRN from the Queensland Department of Transport and Main Roads (TMR).

3.      Register for an online account - this will verify your identity and get the photo for your card.

4.      Renew your blue or exemption card using the applicant portal or download the paper form.

It may seem like a long process but it's for the well-being of all Children. Remember, you are not permitted to have contact with children at the Park until you have the Blue Card in your possession.
